Anne Teikari is a Finnish film composer based in Amsterdam.

Working previously as a musicologist and music journalist in Finland, since 2021 she has been pursuing her career as a film composer in the Netherlands. In addition to film music, she makes invisible films – a concept she created that combines her passion for storytelling in both music and writing.

Her master's thesis "It's not My Music, it's the Film's Music" about the collaboration of making film music was nominated for the Graduation Prize 2023 at the University of the Arts Amsterdam.

In 2024, Anne won the New Talent award in the BUMA Music in Media Awards for her music in the documentary Black Joy (dir. Rafik Opti). In 2025, her music in the film Pocket Change was nominated for the best soundtrack in the Shortcutz Amsterdam Annual Awards.

Anne's approach to making film music stems from what the people in the story need. She dives into the inner world of the characters and strives to take them by the hand with the music.
